Lucy Keating is the author of What If I Do and the young adult novels Dreamology, Literally, and Ride with Me. Her books are contemporary romances with just a pinch of weird—warm, funny stories that blend wish-fulfillment, emotional honesty, beautiful landscapes, and characters who readers want to sit with long after the book ends.

Before becoming a novelist, Lucy worked as a creative for Alloy Entertainment, the storytelling company behind Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars. Those years spent immersed in angsty romance and twisty plots still influence her work today.

Much of Lucy's fiction is inspired by the coastal towns of New England, where grassy farmland meets the beach and everyday life feels sprinkled with magic. When she's not writing, she's usually photographing candid moments, perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe, admiring vintage cars, and dreaming up interior monologues for strangers' dogs.
